Kick-off to Summer
June 8 - 10, 5:00 pm - 11:30 am
Great News Church Family!
Nick Campagna, who preached for us on Palm Sunday, has agreed to be our Interim Lead Pastor! He will officially start with us May 1st. Plan to join us for service Sunday, May 7th and stay after for sandwiches so we can all get to know Nick and his delightful wife Megan.
We are grateful to God for how he has His hand on us. Several of you told staff on the way out on Palm Sunday that you wished Nick could be our Interim Lead Pastor. Several staff felt the same way. The next day, Pastor Betsy got a call from Pastor David Cook from our sister TM church Cold Springs saying, “Have you thought about Nick?” This led to a lunch, which led to an interview, which led to Nick and Megan saying yes. And of course, much prayer on both sides was involved in this whole process!
Nick was the Youth Pastor at Cold Springs Church for 12 years and is currently serving with Elementum Ministries which coaches and empowers ministry leaders. He'll be splitting his time half and half with Elementum and Bayside.
We are excited for the future and look forward to embracing Pastor Nick and Megan into our church family.
